I have an AL1715, I don't know what the ms at the end is. I don't see that. Mine is a 17" LCD. I run Suse 9.2 on it. Never had a problem. The screen has the usual auto-adjust for size, and it works well. I have it running at 1280X1024 60HZ, 24 bit Color depth.

Hi James. Thanks for your reply. Mine is also an AL1715. The store had named it wrong. I purchased it today, and I'm very impressed with it. I have never see such a sharp picture ever. Erik Jakobsen
