hmmm i'm trying to use the SCHEME variable to set different boottime network configurations. it appears that the default router does not get set correctly when i set the network parameters from inside /etc/pcmcia/network.opts. i have an entry in network.opt like: GATEWAY=134.167.140.1 but netstat -r indicates that the default route is not set. of course /sbin/init.d/route cannot set the route because NETCONFIG is set to null in the /etc/rc.config file. i must be missing something simple here, because the rest of the config does get set correctly. tia! -- -- michael galloway - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
