I'm looking for a hardware scanner for Linux. I tried lshw but for some reason it doesn't think I have any memory installed. Actually, I don't want to reboot and I want to know what kind of memory I have in this computer (DDR or DDR2). But a scanner could come useful, regardless. Any help appreciated. -- Michael S. Try dmidecode as root.
