Re: [SLE] SuSE 8.2 Kiosk Mode
I cannot answer your question about Kiosk mode
But yes about language
I speak spanish but I discovered install my SuSE was better to learn, and Is
not possible to
change everything if you did the installation in other language different
from english.
Before reinstall SuSE in my laptop in english I discovered that Help have
more texts and is better
I tried to change then to spanish to try to get also docs in spanish and is
impossible, and do not
change almost anything to spanish
Therefore I realize: Is convenient to install now my computers in
english, then when I become a
experienced user or a newbieest friend wants SuSE I will use a Spanish
install

My first language is spanish, but I usually prefer programs in english to avoid translations - and anyway, many things are not translated - so I installed linux in english. However, if I want a program to run in spanish, I type (for example): LANG=es_ES man man and you get the spanish man page. I think I have run yast this way, but today it doesn't want to comply. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
