CPU monitoring program. What is it and how do I make it go away?
Dumb Newbie question. On my Suse 7.3 box, using KDE as a regular user, there is a smiley face on the task bar that monitors all programs CPU usage, that will ask if I want to shut down a program that is over a preset limit. I don't know the name of this dang thing, or how it got there. Anyone know what it is called? (knotify maybe?). (Boy this is embarrassing!) I really can't figure it out! Harry

It's an applet called "Runaway Process Catcher." Getting it there is easy... so is removing it. To add an applet, right click on an empty part of Kicker (the taskbar), go to Add, Applet, and pick the applet you want. To remove an applet, right click on the dotted bar to the left of the applet, and select Remove. Later C.
