From experience at work- HP deskjets are a pain to put on a network. If you want to use an inkjet, look at the printer list and pick one of the Canon's. If you want to use a laser printer, then HP is probably one of the better ways to go.
Since these are all non-postscript printers, can anyone explain why the network would care (or even know) what brand of printer was in use? Is there a problem in the Ghostscript drivers? I'd assume the queueing would be the same for all of them, and that that's all the network would care about. Just curious...
