[opensuse] How to Customize Desktop
Someone I know using Debian created some really nice looking desktops under KDE. I'd like to adopt her style and use a similar menu. I'm mostly concerned with customizing the KDE menu. Any ideas on how to go about it? Here are some examples... http://i9.tinypic.com/6bjo6s6.png http://i9.tinypic.com/68jhszn.png TIA -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

In retrospect my last post contains a link that does not answer the OPs question. I am curious now, and will be doing some searching on this. - James W -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

No need. It is KBFX and is available via SMART or at www.kbfx.org Here's my first stab tonight. http://www.perfectreign.com/stuff/2007/20070604_kbfx_test1.jpg I'll be playing a bit more with it to see how to make it "the look" I want. this is NOT KDE's menu, it's a different project i don't seem to recall it's name at the moment, have used it a while ago, but it was extremely buggy back then, i'm a happy gnome user now! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, I did see the project somewhere in http://www.kde-look.org/ But I guess once you are there, you will hit much better stuffs than in the picture. -- Soyuz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

ok, here's the best I could find: http://canllaith.org/?page_id=15 I believe that to do anymore would require the development packages and some programming. - James W -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
