There is no additional Xorg.9?.log in /var/log/ which normally indicates a running XGL

Is there another way to check if XGL kicked in?

Composite seams to be added automatically (see /var/log/Xorg.0.log)

I start compiz using compiz fusion icon. My compiz version is 0.7.6

What version of nvidia driver do have installed. I have 169.12.
