Have you set up your DNS fully? You need a MX record to point to your email server.
How do I get an MX record ?? I'm kind of dumb about this <sheepish-grin>. So was I about 3 weeks ago.
I just set up (still setting up) my office with email and new domain name, etc. All I can tell you is how I did it. 1) bought the domain via http://www.Namescout.com/ 2) I used dyndns.org to host the DNS part. It costs US$30 as a once only fee. 3) In their setup utilities you can do a number of fancy things as well as setting up your MX record to point to our mail server. Have a look at their site http://www.dyndns.org/ There is plenty of info on the site especially their white papers on E-mail, Mail Exchangers, and DNS http://support.dyndns.org/whitepapers/mail.php BTW. I ended up having to setup a internal DNS server to distribute the incoming email to another mail server. I've been up all night and am pretty tired, so have a read on that site and get back to me with any questions. BTW there are a couple of other providers of DNS services about, I just used DynDns.org because I had used them in the past and their charges seemed reasonable and had time pressures. Have a look around for others. Happy New year. -- Regards, Graham Smith ---------------------------------------------------------
