No issues at all. Working just fine. Which version of smart are you running? Cheers.

If the following does not help then I suggest that you take your query to the smart list (join it at labix.org). Try doing: 1) as root, on a command line do 'rpm --rebuilddb' (without the quotes) 2) as root, go to /var/lib/smart/ and rename the 'channels' directory to 'channels.old' 3) at the same time as doing 2 also rename the 'packages' directory to 'packages.old' 4) rerun smart manager and update the channels [the Returning Arrow] and do the upgrade [Up Arrow] (this will also download any uninstalled packages already stored in the now called packages.old directory but this a small price to pay) BTW, have a look at the thread, "What repositories are good" begun by Rick Friedman today at 0338 hours. Compare the channels he mentions with the ones you have listed in Smart Manager/Edit/Channels. If you don't have all the ones he mentions in his post then add the ones you don't have. (When you do 2 above this will clear the directory 'channels' of your selected channels and these will be recreated when you do 4; so it would be good to have the complete list when 'channels' is recreated). Cheers.

I use manual update (i.e. smart update; smart upgrade), so I do not know if it's the same thing... but for me the upgrade fails (SUSE 10.0) because it can not find the keys that have been used to sign the pakages. The only real remedy I got for it was to disable the signature checking. -- HG.
