Since installing Leap 15.4, I've been getting an error "Failed to cache rpm database (1)" after Software Update on my notebook computer. I don't get this on my desktop system. Any idea what might be causing it? tnx jk

It is writable. It appears the files have been updated today: ls -l /var/adm/backup/rpmdb/ total 826364 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 168650309 Jun 5 19:59 Packages-20220605.gz -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 169289104 Jun 13 11:59 Packages-20220613.gz -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 169313518 Jun 14 13:57 Packages-20220614.gz -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 169408567 Jun 29 15:04 Packages-20220629.gz -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 169500264 Jul 13 10:13 Packages-20220713.gz -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 36 Jul 13 10:13 rpmdb_recent_md5
