Hi How do I set thing up in konqueror so, that by clicking a e-mail address, it would open kmail and have the recipient address already there.. I remember having that before, but now it does not work... I don't find any configuration option for it. Jaska.

Konqueror should open a new e-mail message (KMail) if you click on an e-mail link, e.g. <mailto:mwebster@ntlworld.com> automatically. Do you have anything listed under Settings->Configure Konqueror->File Associations for "message"? M
Or look in kconfig -> network -> email, perhaps your email program has not been defined. Op donderdag 30 augustus 2001 22:23, schreef Martin Webster:

Mine is empty, while it works.... -- Richard Bos For those who have no home the journey is endless
Hi Still have problem with clicking a e-mail link in konqueror. Closest I got is to right-click on top of the e-mail, and select "open with", and then select "kmail" from there. but now I have problems with the options. I had options "kmail -caption "%c" %i %m" there already. This does open a new kmail window, but in receiver-address I get those %i %m characters, so they are wrong.. Could someone go with konqueror on top of an e-mail link, right click, select "open with", and find out the correct options for kmail? Thanx Jaska. Viestissä Torstai 30. This results in: Could not start process Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Error loading 'kmailservice %u'. Have you set the default mail client in the Control Centre (Personalisation->E-Mail)? Mine is set to: /opt/kde2/bin/kmail. Also, have you got mailto listed under Information->IOSlaves? M
