[SLE] SUID for screensavers?
I just started using kdm to login. Now when my user kde starts, I get a message that my system uses shadow passwords, and that I should ask my system administrator (me) to make the screensavers suid. (1) how do I do this; i.e., where *are* the screensavers? (2) what do passwords have to do with it? Thanks in advance. BTW, I just got IPX up and running to connect to a Novell LAN, if anyone needs any tips on that. JT ______________________________________________________________________ John A. To answer your second question, passwords are related to screensavers via
xlock for example.
I read on a PAM page however that PAM allows you to use xlock without it
need SUID's set. I am not sure how this works.
