Have you run /usr/bin/3Ddiag and followed its advice? -- JAY VOLLMER JVOLLMER@VISI.COM TEXT REFS DOUBLEPLUSUNGOOD SELFTHINK VERGING CRIMETHINK IGNORE FULLWISE

The advice from 3Ddiag ? Ehhh. Just runned the program to test . The advice here was to install the nvidea drivers???????? Suprising advice because the drivers are installed and working, 10 minutes before the test i played Quake. Ray

I don't think that /usr/bin/3Ddiag checks to see if the drivers are installed, just if you have XF86Config setup for them. I might be wrong. -- JAY VOLLMER JVOLLMER@VISI.COM TEXT REFS DOUBLEPLUSUNGOOD SELFTHINK VERGING CRIMETHINK IGNORE FULLWISE

it does, but only for the rpms. i have the nvidia drivers installed via the tarballs and have the 'switch2' script disabled so it doesn't screw up the links. as a result, 3ddiag gripes about them not being installed and claims 3d hardware accel is not being used.. -- trey
Hello SuSE folkz, Does anybody know of any Linux, preferably SuSE one-two week classes in California Bay Area? Thank you in advance for any source of information. Alex
