I'm using vmware workstation 8.0.0 (7.0 also does not work for me with 12.1), I found a patch at the location below applied and I have vmware 8.0.0, not sure if it will work on 8.0.1, the site below indicates it's for 8.0.0 http://weltall.heliohost.org/wordpress/2011/09/29/vmware-workstationplayer-f... This is correct. I had the same problem with 8.0.0 but not with 8.0.1. -=terry=- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

+1 I upgraded to VMware Workstation 8.0.1 [currently the latest] and the install completed and everything seems to be working as expected. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Well, it appears to work until one of the VMware kernel module dumps. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
