RE: [SLE] Annoying little KDE Menu "glitch"
If you have made any changes to the menu prior, there should be a file in ~/.config Deleting this file and any entries in ~/.local (better double check this one, I am not certain) will restore your menu back to stock. I assume that you have made changes by editing the menu, saved and are now going back into the menu editor. This is the same problem I had and is caused by one of the patches to kdebase from the latest kde security updates. You could also roll back to the kde version on the CDs or upgrade to 3.2.3 which some have reported works (doesn't for me, creates a different menu problem). Good luck.. I'm using KDE 3.2.3 myself-- renamed .local and .config and seeing what that does. (Tried it-- Still no little "expand" triangles...)
