Just a quick heads-up. ATI's proprietary XFree86 / X.org driver is now available for x86_64. It installs and works well for me (at last, acceleration!) on up-to-date SuSE 9.2 (Fujitsu Amilo A 1630, Athlon64 3400+, ATI Mobility Radeon 9700). http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/linux/radeon-linux64.html?type=64linux&prodType=graphic&prod=products64LINUXdriver&submit.x=12&submit.y=3 -- Bill

Awesome. With a little luck I'll be playing both UT and Doom before/until the sun rises. Jeff
