Because my builtin Javelin wifi adaptor doesn't work under linux and I tried ndiswrapper, I may buy a cheap pcmcia card so that i can use the wifi, but I am wondering which one is best and sure to work under Linux Sean

Sean Sean,
I'm using a Linksys WPC54G, and it works perfectly... Best, Pete -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peter N. Pete: Can you explain how you set it up, I have the same card working in Windows but when I tried it under 9.2 it complained it is ACX100 and not finding the firmware. Regards, Julian

I have a NetBlaster II PC card that has worked fine with notebooks running SuSE 8.2, 9.0, 9.1 and 9.3. Regards. -- Alfredo J. Cole Grupo ACyC

Netgear WG511 - you won't be sorry. I have it on good authority that the WG511T (the 108mbit model) works too. Well, if the BSD boys got it working, so I'm sure it would be a breeze in SUSE :-) -- Kind Regards Hans du Plooy SagacIT (Pty) Ltd hansdp at sagacit dot com
I've used both the MiniPCI Cisco350 & also Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC chipset. Have a Thinkpad T42 running Gentoo Linux. No other OS has ever run on it. Let me know if you have any ?'s!! =] Good luck! Mike On 6/14/05, Sean Rima <thecivvie@gmail.com> wrote:
