Wait.... Right here you should see a password prompt for root's password. Failing that, you should see a pop-up warning about Yast NOT running as root.

Sorry, my bad for not including it. Yes, root password prompt received and entered; should have been listed as the 2nd step in the list, when first starting YaST from the menu and BEFORE the 'YaST Control Center opens' part. Thanks.
