Re: [opensuse] KDE 3.5.5 -> 3.5.7 upgrade conflict
You are right. You need to reinstall kdepim3-networkstatus. I made a mistake while writing. Francesco Michal Hlavac wrote:

Choose to ignore kdepim3-networkstatus conflict. This will solve the other dependencies. After the upgrade, reinstall manually kdepim-networkstatus.
hello Francesco,
I have no kdepim-networkstatus rpm... and also there is no package at repos.opensuse.org
thanks, miso

Actually: I removed kdepim3-networkstatus in the latest 3.5.7 as part of a 10.3 feature and completely forgot to consider the effect this would have on 10.2 upgraders. kdelibs3 now contains the library previously packaged as kdepim3-networkstatus and I forgot to Obsoletes/Provides it in kdelibs3. Hence the conflict. This also gave a binary compatibility problem with the knetworkmanager delivered with 10.2. We've since fixed these issues so there shouldn't be a problem on 10.2 with these packages, and I'm currently trying to make the new feature work on 10.2 as well as 10.3. cheers Will -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
