Is there some government agency that collects these for fraud investigation. Who would I forward these to?
Heh...I sent a copy of one (headers and all) to the FBI the very first time I got one...that had to be about 5 or 6 years ago. Naturally I heard nothing from them, and it appears that they can do nothing about it.
I just dug up 2 email addresses to forward them to. Not that they can do anything about it, but maybe they can deduce a pattern from the headers. 419.fcd@usss.treas.gov is the Secret Services Nigerian Fraud task force fraud@africaservice.com is a business-run clearinghouse for this type of fraud, I guess they keep a database for the governments to inspect. -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation

I don't think that's true. A few months back they arrested a few of these guys here in Canada. I guess they don't put alot of effort into it but every so often. Nick
