I think I've seen a few posts on this subject, but don't recall anyone on
the
list or from SuSE ever replying, so I'll ask again. Does the SBLive! card support audio CD sound under Linux with the emu10k1.o driver or not? I have sound for the desktop, I can play .wav files and MP3's, but don't get any sound when playing music CD's. Anyone? Stefan I'm Using it successfully. All I did was follow the directions in /usr/lib/emu10k1-0.4.SuSE/README. Every thing works for me.

The above mentioned README directions apply to kernel 2.2.13 and you are warned in the README that you use these directions with another kernel "strictly at you own risk". My question; has anyone had success using this method with kernel 2.2.14? I have the OSS driver installed and cannot get dual channel to work. I'm limited to one set of speakers in linux, where I can get quadradic sound in Winblows.
