We installed 1.1.4 from openoffice.org. It looks awful but seems to be a much simpler installation, especially on a network. Don't forget to lose the rpm's first otherwise it's suse wrapper hell. If you're brave you could also try the new 2.0 beta. Steve.

Steve I'm fairly new to SuSE Linux and have downloaded OOo 1.1.4 tar file to replace my 1.1.1 version. Do you mean to uninstall the YaST version first then install from the tar file (When you say loose the RPM wrapper first)??? -- Russ
