Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone knows why the supplementary KDE applications at ftp.suse.com are "supplementary" rather than being available updates. They all seem to be newer versions of existing software rather than extras.
This is because they are provided yet unsupported. They support the version that's shipped with the distribution unless there is a security risk or some other very important reason to put out official updates to the current version...and if they can't patch the version that shipped with the release. So they are just as marked..supplementary to the released distribution. -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org ----------------------------------------------------------- This e-mail and any attachment is intended for anyone with an email address and does not contain information that is confidential and privileged or that is of any intrinsic value to anyone.
