[opensuse] Two workspaces, one monitor.
All, I'm one of those avid and outspoken dual-monitor users. What makes it so useful for me, isn't the second monitor per se, but the extra workspace. But sometimes I need to (begrudgingly) use a single monitor computer. So the question is, can I replicate this functionality using one (wide screen) monitor, and preferably not having to lose my gnome/kde DE. So: I essentially want to be able to split my wide screen monitor in two. So I can quickly maximize two applications side by side. For bonus points, I'd like to be able to watch movies (or even play games, not that I do that) with it spanning across both "work spaces" (my whole monitor). Insights? Thoughts?
