Home.desktop points to wrong directory
Hello, when I click on the home-icon KDE tries to open /data1 which obviously does not work. Where can I find the configuration for the home directory? Sven -- << s.burmeister@lancaster.ac.uk * sven.burmeister@gmx.de >> :: Have a look at Germany :: http://www.lancs.ac.uk/ug/burmeist/
when I click on the home-icon KDE tries to open /data1 which obviously does not work. Where can I find the configuration for the home directory?
konqueror->settings->configure konqueror->behaviour Change Home URL to ~ I think that should do the trick. Regards, Pieter Hulshoff

No it did not, it was already on ~. When I click on Home-directory in an "open file" dialog, it jumps to the right directory, it is just that Desktop link, that does not work. Thanks anyway! Sven

Sorry that I wrote a bit confusing, I will try again: When I click on the Home icon on my desktop, it should open Konqueror with my /home/username directory. What it does is that it tries to open /data1 instead. When looking at the command of that link it opens "kfmclient openProfile filemanagement". What I did wron was to be in directory /data1 and then save the profile for filemanagement, I thought it would just save my preferences for columns etc. To much thinking I guess! ;) Thanks, Sven -- << s.burmeister@lancaster.ac.uk * sven.burmeister@gmx.de >> :: Have a look at Germany :: http://www.lancs.ac.uk/ug/burmeist/
