I have an Asus m2400n laptop that uses the intel 855 graphics chipset. The card is supposed to dynamically allocate system memory to the graphics card. There are no options in the BIOS for locking this down, as it is supposed to happen on the fly. However, "dmesg | grep -i agp" shows me that I only have 8060k of "stolen memory" allocated, regardless of what I am doing (ex: having glxgears running) I have NeverWinter nights, which is supposed to run on a 700 mhz system with a 16 meg graphics card, and even with everything turned down to the bare minimum, I am unable to play it on my 1.6Ghz Centrino. Glxgears gets about 1100, so I know that the DRI extensions are working.... any thoughts?
