Hello all, Can anybody point me in the direction of a list of natively supported wireless cards for Suse 10.0, 802.11b is ok, or maybe if you have one let me know which one is working for you. I did do a google and found a few outdated and cryptic pages. What I have available (purchased) is a Linksys WUSB11V4. I have tried quite a few things I found when googling but none have come close to functioning, I have built the latest version of ndiswrapper I could find when I started and also tried the drivers that came with the unit and I d/l what was the latest from the web site. Thanks, Mike

I've installed SUSE on two different laptops both with Intel 2200b/g cards which both worked out of the box. My Dell system is running currently with 10.1 and has worked with 9.3 and 10.0 as well. My Gateway is running with 10.1 HTH!! Good luck out there. -- Kai Ponte www.perfectreign.com || www.4thedadz.com remember - a turn signal is a statement, not a request

I will check this out and add it to my list, thanks.
My original looking was on the Suse site, but they do not support
ndiswrapper, and I did not find any good info on fully supported cards.
After I wrote the message I did a little mode digging and came up with this:
http://nextgen.no-ip.org/~andrew/linux/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapperinfo10-32bit.p...
It looks like it may be working, but I have to check the routing.
SuseDesktop:~ # ifstatus wlan0
wlan0
wlan0 configuration: wlan-bus-usb
wlan0 is up
6: wlan0:

Thanks to those who replied, I think I have most of it, I think to do the rest of the testing I have to disable the wired network or create 2 profiles to switch between. Thanks again, Mike
