Just dled the latest-greatest sources for Evolution. Will it compile and function correctly even though I'm not using Ximian? This is on a stock 7.2 updated SuSE. Thanx.

Yes it should work fine as long as you have the required dependancies which a listed on their site..they should be the same version numbers that they list on their site. If you have all that..should be a breeze. :) -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org cat CE|ME|NT|XP > /dev/null
Quick question for all...I did as instructed to install packages, but after installing gal-0.10.0 (./configure;make;etc etc etc...) and trying to run configure for Evolution, I keep getting an error stating that it detects gal-0.9.1... How can I fix this? Thanx On 2001.09.02 14:00:47 -0500 Ben Rosenberg wrote:

I would remove the RPM and if you have the src around for the next version do a make install again just to be sure the removal of the RPM didn't kludge anything up. -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org cat CE|ME|NT|XP > /dev/null
