[SLE] Problems with CDROM and zip drive
Both of these have stopped working, When I try to mount them in kde I get the message, mount: the kernel does not recognize /dev/hdc (or /dev/sda4) as a block device, (maybe 'insmod driver'?). My fstab file has not changed. Where do I begin to try to figure this out? I presume both the zip and CD drives are ATAPI? How about giving us the output of lsmod. Have you changed anything recently? Recompiled the kernel? Bye, Chris -- Sorry everybody - all the servers at the ISP I use for email have been down for the past four days. They've come back up again, so now I have to catch up on all that mail... __ _ -o)/ / (_)__ __ ____ __ Chris Reeves /\\ /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ICQ# 22219005 _\_v __/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
