1) Add a special comment: #!BuildIgnore: google-earth 2) Make rpm scripts working even without google-earth. One of the tricks you can use: if test -z "$BUILD_ROOT" ; then code_that_should_be_skipped_during_build fi 3) Fix syntax errors in scripts you did: 3.1) "[" in bash is a command name. It must be separated by spaces. "[-e bak/*]" could never work. It tries to execute command named "[-e". 3.2) Even "[ -e bak/* ]" does not do what you think.
