32b OpenSuSE 11.3, Gnome 2.30 When Gnome is started, it places all previously open windows in the correctly remembered positions on each desktop and just before it's finished starting up, *ALL* the windows fall into the northwest corner of desktop 1. Even if this is acceptable, default behaviour, it is unwanted, undesirable. Is there a way to persuade Gnome to keep all windows where they were placed and not drop them all in the corner? I don't see any config setting that would work, Anyone have a magic spell, curse or threat that does?
