If I do something that requires restarting X (like switching video drivers), is it enough to log out of my session, or do I need to drop back to runlevel 3 and then come back up to 5? -- ====================================================== Glenn Holmer (Linux registered user #16682) ====================================================== "Greater coherence cannot be achieved. I would do this without changing runlevels. Make it into a script. gedit yourfile sync; sync; sync; killall X # it is killed and then will restart Adam (the X killer)
