[opensuse] USB check fails but SUM check passes
I have been having the DICKENS trying to get the iso check to pass. I have tried 2 usb stick's and 3 or 4 downloads all different ways. When I burn the ISO using SUSE image burning software or the alternitive IMAGE USB this is what happens. As you see the the sum check passes http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/ac69/CMAR606/OPEN%20SUSE%20Mail%20Group/1... but this is what happens when I reboot and run the check. http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/ac69/CMAR606/OPEN%20SUSE%20Mail%20Group/c... I have direct downloaded it, Bit Torrented from the suse site... What gives? Thanks! Wishing all of the best to you! Thanks! As a guess, the USB image is not read-only, so on the first boot you modify the data somehow and the check sum no longer verifies. If this is for 13.2, there is a discussion about that on -project.
