Here's what I recieved in response to my query:
Please advise me regardin the release date for SuSE-Linux-6.0.
SuSE Linux 6.0 will be released in October 1998, with a possible Beta version available in September. We will also be releasing 5.3 late this summer.
Also, a summary of new features over 5.2 would be appreciated.
At the moment, this request is a bit premature. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Regards, Scott Winterton S.u.S.E., Inc. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

In the 6.0 release would it be possible to have *both* lib5 and lib6statically linked? I did this with RH 5.0 and StarOffice 4.0 which worked well, but this would be a global thing. Is this possible? Personally, this would be the best of both worlds which would allow various applications to catch up. ;) (or an easy out to lib5 dependent apps) Dana -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
