[opensuse] Wierd IPv6 address problem
I have a network with an IPv6 subnet. Today, I noticed that I cannot reach www.bieringer.de [2001:a60:9002:1::186:3] from my main linux box, but I can from other computers, including one running Windows. This would indicate that my router is working properly and the problem is only on this one computer. Another strange thing about this computer is that it has an extra IP address (2001:db8:1:0:215:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx) beyond the link local and subnet addresses. This sort of address or subnet does not appear on any other computer. I have no idea where to look for the cause of this issue. I'm running OpenSUSE 11.0 on all Linux systems. tnx jk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Problem solved. Doing an rcnetwork restart cleared it. However, I have no idea where that other address came from. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
