What about webyast?, is it going to be included in openSUSE or will it remain as a commercial add-on for SLES?. Regards, -- Ciro Iriarte http://cyruspy.wordpress.com -- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

It is available in repo "YaST:Web", but it is still unfinished (for any version) https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=YaST%3AWeb - ------------ Web interface for YaST modules Tools-report-bug This project contains a simple web interface for YaST modules. It is under development and is not recommended for any production system yet. The release in this project is an internal snapshot and meant to be a demo version rather than a secure release (it might contain hacks). - ------------ - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. I meant to ask if it'll be included as part of the distribution... Good to know it's "not ready" yet... Regards, -- Ciro Iriarte http://cyruspy.wordpress.com -- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

AFAIK, no: <http://software.opensuse.org/search?q=webyast&baseproject=openSUSE%3AFactory&exclude_filter=home%3A&exclude_debuginfo=true> It is not found in the oss repo, so, the answer is no. People would complain after attempting to use it and fail, not reading the docs that say it is not ready ;-) -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 11.2 x86_64 "Emerald" GM (Elessar))

It won't be included in openSUSE 11.3 but I hope it will get integrated later. It's available today in the openSUSE Build Service, follow the instructions at http://en.opensuse.org/YaST/Web/Installation to test drive it on your openSUSE system, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, Program Manager openSUSE, aj@{novell.com,opensuse.org} Twitter: jaegerandi | Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
