I know you're working with a phone line, which was not what I thought you wanted since you said no phone line and no voip, so I know you don't need this any more, but just to correct myself anyways, I didn't meant to say myfax.com, I meant unityfax.com I have been using a unityfax account for a few years and it's cheap and handy. Moot, I know, but I just couldn't leave it alone that I said/recommended something I didn't actually use or necessarily approve of. I talked to AT&T and they said, that the only way for the wireless printer setup is to (a) have a VOIP adapter and VOIP service or (b) (which I did) just run a phone line to the printer (to capture the straight phone line signal)

In playing with the printer settings - I got - at least - connected to the U-Verse gateway box.

Now I just need to try and fax something - (my docs office is closed <ugh>)

- openSUSE 11.4

- U-Verse TV box - - COAX connected to TV card - - RJ-45 connected to U-Verse gateway box

- HP 6500 wireless capable printer - - No phone line attached (yet - phone jack on other side of room) - - USB attached to computer

What can I do the easiest to FAX ? (Of course, a phone line ~ 50 ft)
