Killer Solution (1) hylafax (robust fax management application, you can configure OCR via tesseract to provide for automatic OCR on inbound faxes. (2) Avantfax (webserver interface (PHP/MySQL) front end to hylafax that provides access to all incoming/outgoing faxes and provides, read on-line, respond, annotate, download as .pdf, or e-mail of all inbound faxes) Commercial Quality setup for nothing more than a few hours of browsing their information sites. -- David C. I think I've got it solved ......... In playing with the printer settings - I got - at least - connected to the U-Verse gateway box. Now I just need to try and fax something - (my docs office is closed <ugh>) Thanks all, Duaine On 01/29/2012 10:11 PM, Duaine Hechler wrote:

Well it is solved - but - I don't like it. I talked to AT&T and they said, that the only way for the wireless printer setup is to (a) have a VOIP adapter and VOIP service or (b) (which I did) just run a phone line to the printer (to capture the straight phone line signal) Thanks to all, Duaine On 01/29/2012 11:58 PM, Duaine Hechler wrote:

I know you're working with a phone line, which was not what I thought you wanted since you said no phone line and no voip, so I know you don't need this any more, but just to correct myself anyways, I didn't meant to say myfax.com, I meant unityfax.com I have been using a unityfax account for a few years and it's cheap and handy. Moot, I know, but I just couldn't leave it alone that I said/recommended something I didn't actually use or necessarily approve of. The only reason I suggested an on line service is because you said no phone line and no voip, also I would have no idea that your uverse account actually came with a working pots line until you said it. -- bkw On 2/1/2012 3:17 AM, Duaine Hechler wrote:
