I've just selected a text to read at archive.org and been confronted for the first time with "We show that you've borrowed this but haven't loaded it in Digital Editions yet. ... Do you need to try downloading Adobe Digital Editions again? The PDF or ePub loans will only open in that program."
I tried directly from openlibrary.org and was able to download the PDF with no issues using Chrome. Same with the ePub. Can you provide step-by-step how you got to the point you're seeing the problem you're seeing, along with which browser you're using? Thanks, Jim, but the 'problem' appears to be the digitized books that are still under copyright. They can be 'checked out' via browser for reading online, or, for two weeks (like a normal library) via password protected PDF or eBook for reading via the appropriate device or software. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I see - can you provide an example of one you're having trouble with? Jim -- Jim Henderson Please keep on-topic replies on the list so everyone benefits -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
