Now, what reserved file? You barely tell anything. You know that crystal balls are pretty expensive, even if you find a provider. Mine is out for repairs.
Ok, so I assume you got a disk and it contains a file. What's its name? You could post a listing. And you could get its real type with command "file".
Sorry for the mistakes and omissions. The new disk is a 4TB Seagate Backup Plus. I have had trouble booting some of my other USB drives, so wanted to build a system on this one as a test.
Again. sorry for omissions and hijack.
That's ok, but you still don't give details on what that strange file is or looks like :-} -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)

All I know about the file was what was in my first post. The SUSE installer says it is a 133.5 MB Microsoft reserved file, in partition 1. Don -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

No idea of what that means. Then have a look at the disk using Linux. Does it have a partition table? Does it have filesystems on those partitions? Mount them. Files there? Look at them. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)
