Annoying Star Office problem
I am running SuSE 7.2, and using StarOffice. I have about 15 email accounts that I use for various mailing lists, including this one. I have SO configured to check them all, but I cannot send because it is defaulting to my work email account. I set User Defined Settings under the Send tab and put the Sender and Reply-To fields as the mailing list account, however the username and password fields were grayed out. How can I configure SO to let me send from different accounts as well? That is a main feature I look for in a mail client. Thanks, CC

SO as far as I know cannot do this. I Fsomeone can prove me wrong I would be happy as well but then the new kmail does it admirably Chris
Hi. I've tried too, and the only way i found to SEND email with the different accounts is to first download or check the mailbox of one account, and when SO displays you the mails you have, push the button in the upper toolbar that seems a copy/paste icon (new message) , when you send the mail in that way it delivers it with the User Defined Settings under the Send tab with Sender and Reply-To fields, if there is another way, i haven't found it. Try that it works for me!!!!. I advice you to use other client, right now i'm using kmail, is light and very fast., no problem at all. I would prefer to use Infussion, Magellan or Evolution but none of those work in my SuSE 7.2, i just don't know why many programs don't work with SuSE meanwhile the same applications work well with others, but that's other story.
