My printer resides on a windows '98 machine. Sofar Yast2 has been unable to help me get it to work. On the other hand: sharing a printer between two windows '98 machines is also a pain to get to work. Something about encrypted passwords and such. Does anyone know how to get Linux to print on a printer connected to a windows '98 machine?
Pieter, I also have my printer on win98 and I did not experience such problems. Yast2 should handle that. Read samba docs (especially those about encryptions). I recall that sometimes is better to have up to 8 chars password and not longer. Regards, -- Emcek emcek@poczta.onet.pl
