Yes, always. I've had zero issues with suspend to RAM/Disk using openSUSE 11.3. Currently using LXDE as my DE, and I have set it up to suspend to RAM when I close the lid... open it and it's reconnected to my WiFi in about 2 seconds. This is consistently the same all the time... suspending several times per day
