I am considering purchasing MetroLink Motif from the SuSE web site and would like to know a little bit more about what I can expect running Motif. I now use a variety of applications like applix, the GIMP, xfig, plan, etc. These will continue to work under Motif, right? Motif, I gather, changes the window dressing a bit and offers some programming functionality? I understand that Motif also offers a lot of desktop functionality including multiple desktops, etc. Could someone comment on what I would see as an end user if I purchase Motif? Does someone have a screen capture of their desktop running Motif they could share with me?
