[opensuse] Wireshark and capture-filters
Hi, Sometimes I need Wireshark to debug some network-stuff. In older versions I could set up capture filters and use them. Since a while (I even think from the start when I installed OS 12.2) this is not possible. I have to use display-filters. Do I need to install something more that I don't know of ? Am I the only one experiencing this ? When starting a capture there used to be a place to specify the capture-filter. Now it's not available any more. There is a menu-entry to specify it, but it does not work. Thanks for any pointers. That's one of the "features" of recent versions. They made it awkward to use filters. On the first screen, where you select the interface, double click on the interface and you'll open the panel where you can select filters. Another new feature is it likes to crash. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
