[opensuse] Printing issue
System: Opensuse 13.1 kde 4._ Printer: Brother MFCJ450DW I open a spreadsheet in LO calc, set the page to landscape, set printer to landscape, click on print, &*^%$!! printer prints portrait. Print preview shows landscape, everything looks ok. So, what am I missing? Fred -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

So if you landscape a landscape do you get a portrait? Kinda like a double negative in logic maybe. -- After all is said and done, more is said than done. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I have a similar problem with firefox on gentoo, iirc. Firefox correctly previews in landscape, the printer prints the landscape image in portrait :-( giving me the left-hand side of the page and white space at the bottom. (Oh, and iirc with LO too.) I'm guessing it has to be a driver issue somewhere, and no, the driver seems to detect that document is being sent in landscape from the application, so it locks the printer setting at landscape and won't let you change it. So why does it come out in portrait!!! Cheers, Wol -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
