Hello list users: I can't mount a multisession DVD-R with UDF filesystem on my openSUSE 10.3 system. When the disc is inserted the icon is placed onto the desktop but the disc is not being mounted. When I try to mount it by right click/mount I get this error message: "mount: block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0, missing codepage or helper program, or other error In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so" dmesg says the following: UDF-fs: No VRS found If I try to mount the DVD from the command line (mount -t udf /dev/sr0 /mnt) I get the same message, but I can mount the first session: # mount -t udf -o session=0 /dev/sr0 /mnt mount: block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only # I googled and found that others had the same problem but I could not find any solution.
