[opensuse] 15.0 KDE desktop goes wonkey
One thing I've noticed since upgrading to 15.0 is the KDE desktop goes wonkey (please pardon the technical jargon) where the icon images on the task bar seem to enlarge the image, within the same size icon. Text also gets bigger. Sometimes it also affects the desktop icons. The only way to clear it is to log out. Has anyone else seen this? tnx jk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

haven't seen it but might save you from having to log out. try following in a terminal instance: kquitapp5 plasmashell && sleep 2 && kstart plasmashell & disown && sleep 10 && exit that is one line. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Can't quite make heads or tails of your problem description. When does this happen? When you hover the mouse? Just random intervals? Screen shot in susepost? Have you tried changing themes, or maybe just icon sets, just to see if its something like that? -- After all is said and done, more is said than done. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

It just happens. I'll be using the computer as usual then it happens. I haven't seen any pattern.

No, I haven't tried changing anything. Everything here is pretty much default, as I don't play around with desktops. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

The suggestion was that maybe you SHOULD play with themes. Broken themes cause a lot of problems. You might also take another stab at describing the problem. Your description was vague and confusing.
