[opensuse] Adding folders to "locations"

right clic on the pannel may show you "locked" or something similar, but even if not blocked, I also have sometime problems adding links there. I'm not sure what you are trying to do. If you want to add a folder to a netwerk location (URL) you should do that using 'Netwerk' in you pop up menu. There you can establish ('New network location') a folder corresponding to a URL that you maintain to add files and folders by dragging and dropping. The entry that you use allows you to make a symlink to a web folder or file, that will appear as local folder or file in your folder view. Two possibilities spring to mind: 1) You've already accidentally hidden the folder you're trying to add. Try to right-click on the folders pane on the left and click 'Show all entries'. However, I believe that if the folder is already in your 'Places' there won't even be a menu option to try to add it again. 2) More likely, hence, have you tried right-clicking the folder pane on the left and clicking 'Unlock Panels'?
