[opensuse] Open Office question
Hi all, I have a spreadsheet with all my monthly costs on it. It would be nice if I could mark each one as it is paid, ie change the color or put a checkmark on it. Is there anyway of doing this? You can use Conditional Formatting, check Format -> Conditional formatting And enter a formula, and then change the cell style to change color, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger aj@{suse.com,opensuse.org} Twitter/Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn,Jennifer Guild,Felix Imendörffer,HRB16746 (AG Nürnberg) GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Do you want it to happen automatically? or do you just want to... say.. make the cell green for paid? To manually change the color, assuming you've got a default layout and haven't changed the toolbars... - click on the cell - click the 3rd button from the right on the second toolbar (tooltip says Background color) - pick a color If you want to have things changed based on conditions... look at the docs here: http://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Applying_Conditional_Formatting and http://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Conditional_Formatting C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

This is what I want to do. Manually change the cell when the payment is made.
If you want to have things changed based on conditions... look at the docs here: http://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Applying_Conditional_Formatting and http://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Conditional_Formatting
